How to Inflate Your Paddle Board
So, you just bought an inflatable paddle board, but you’re still unsure about how to inflate it?
You'll need:
STEP 1
Unroll your inflatable paddle board. Assemble the pump, making sure that the hose is properly attached.
Step 2
Open the cap of the valve and make sure that the valve pin is in the upright position. If it isn’t, lightly press on the valve and twist it.
Step 3
Connect the pump to the valve and secure it by turning it clockwise.
Step 4
Adjust the setting on the pump to 1 and pump. Once you start feeling some resistance, switch to the 2nd or 3rd setting until you reach between 15 and 20 PSI (no more, no less!). The process should take between 10 and 15 minutes.
Step 5
Once the 20 PSI (minimum 15 PSI) is reached, disconnect the pump from the board and screw the cap on the valve making sure to tighten it.
Étape 6
To get ready to hit the water, there are a few things you need to do:
- Install your ankle leash
- Adjust your paddle
Tip
We recommend that you inflate your board to 20 PSI for a better experience on the water. Our Woven Fusion technology combined with Fusion Tech Stringers make our inflatable boards the most rigid on the market. If you want a quicker way to inflate your board, you can purchase a TAIGA electric pump that you can plug into a 12 V outlet.
