WARRANTY - TERMS & CONDITIONS

At TAIGA, we are proud of the products we create, and we make effort to produce boards and accessories to the highest quality and standards in the industry. Before shipping an order, we complete quality checks in our warehouses to confirm each product's quality.

WARRANTY POLICY

On 2023 and newer models, we offer the initial buyer a three (3) year warranty on boards, and a one (1) year warranty on accessories, which both cover manufacturer faults. Previous year models have a one (1) year warranty. Items can be returned or replaced at the discretion of TAIGA.

The warranty will be applied, if and only if:

  • You notice a manufacturing defect (delamination, EVA pad that peels off, color defect) upon receiving your order;
  • You notice a defect on the materials (hull breakage, breakage of a fin box, etc.) upon receiving your order;
  • You notice a missing accessory upon receiving your order;
  • You use your product according to the recommended maintenance and the practical guides and you nevertheless stumble upon a manufacturing defect.

How to apply the warranty:

  • In order to activate the warranty, it is important that you fill our WARRANTY CLAIM. Please detail the situation as much as you can. Once we have received all documentation, we will get back to you within 3 business days.
  • The warranty only applies to the first buyer. If misused, a paddle board (or any other accessory) can easily be damaged. In many cases, this is not a manufacturing problem, but rather negligence from the initial owner.
  • Should you experience any problem or need help with a claim, please send a message to info@taigaboard.com.

The warranty does not cover the following claim conditions:

  • Damage of defects caused by an exposure to excessive heat (sunlight, prolonged time in the car/in boardbag);
  • Damage or defects due to improper use and maintenance;
  • Damage or defects due to negligence, misuse or accidents while loading, unloading, or handling on or off the water;
  • Damage or defects due to commercial purposes such as rentals and paddle board lessons;
  • Damage or defects due to impact with any material or objectds (rock, ramp, slider, etc.);
  • Damage or defects due to paddling, surfing in the waves, and SUP racing;
  • Damage or defects due to a repair by people not referred by TAIGA;
  • Damage of defects due to a storage space that was either too wet, too hot or too cold;
  • Damage or defects due to natural disasters or accidents, such as fire, floods, etc.;
  • Damage or defects due to improper mounting or adjustment of straps;
  • Damage or defects due to normal wear and tear.
