        Great Board

With the single centre fin the board is very easy to spin and slide around on. Set it up with three fins and it holds a line decently for a skim style board although it still can’t really attack your turn. Board looks awesome and we are stoked to have purchased a Canadian brand.

        It’s ok

First the shipping was a bit of a mess but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a one off mistake. Secondly, the board is very aesthetically pleasing. However out of the box it is a little messy, the foam has pieces hanging off of it and the case for the find looks like it was made of scrap material. The fins are held in by screws which worries me since water tends to make things rust and weaken over time. Also putting the fins in was about a 30 minute job since the screws were so hard to twist, it felt like they were going to crack the board with how much force you had to put into them. Lastly the board seems as if it’s hollow so one little crack or lead and the board is done for.

        Hi Osher,

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm truly sorry that your experience hasn’t met your expectations so far.

Regarding the shipping delays — I understand how frustrating that can be. In your case, part of the delay was due to an incorrect shipping option you selected at checkout. We needed to wait for the additional payment to be completed before we could move forward with arranging transportation.

We do ship across Canada, but for more remote locations (especially those far from Quebec), we often need to work with specialized carriers, which can take a bit longer to coordinate. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience throughout this process.

As for the condition of the board upon arrival — We aim to ensure all our products are shipped in excellent condition. The foam you mentioned is typically used to protect the board during transport, but it definitely shouldn’t look messy or poorly cut. We’ll review our packaging process to prevent this kind of issue going forward.

Regarding the fin case and mounting system — I can confirm that the materials used are not scrap. However, we completely understand that the overall appearance matters and if you think something is wrong with the fin box, please reach out so we can have a closer look on this. As for the screws included for the fins, they're made of stainless steel and are corrosion-resistant, specifically chosen for water use.

That said, the screws are designed to be installed with minimal force. You only need to apply light tension — about 3 to 4 turns on each side — just enough for the screw to gently press against the fin without digging into it. It should only take a few seconds to install the fins properly.

If you ever feel like you're forcing the screws or hear any cracking sounds from the board, that’s a critical sign that they’re being overtightened. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’d be happy to walk you through the installation to ensure everything is done safely and correctly, and to help protect your new board from any potential damage.

Lastly, I want to reassure you that the board is not hollow in a way that compromises its integrity. It's built with a lightweight EPS foam core and reinforced with durable layers of fiberglass and carbon for strength and performance. That's why it feels as light as a feather ;)

I sincerely hope these explanations clarify things for you — whether it’s troubleshooting, replacement parts, or a closer look at your board. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly so we can assist further.
