It's well designed and built. I only wish it was made to fit a calf too, but that is just my personal preference.
Had flat water sessions up to this point. This is a great, agile, maneuverable and exciting board! Carves and foot-steers easily, sustains great primary stability and offers a responsive ride that is light under your feet and keeps you aware of conditions of water. *While I had not yet had a chance to actually use it SUP surfing, I cannot wait. I am sure it will be amazing! I also concur with the many reviewers who say the design is beautiful.
The paddle was a nice surprise. I enjoy it light weight and quality -- given this is the entry-level paddle, I believe it is suitable for all levels and most purposes. It is a high-flex paddle, which is new for me, it is able to propel my strokes forward with a leap! I am 6Ft2" & the extension is sufficient for me. It's a great paddle for all levels!
I really enjoy this board. I am an ocean paddler, so 25" width was great for my purposes. It's a very well designed board - incredible glider, just wants to go; at the same time it is very stable, so you can focus on maneuverability, safe turns and foot steering. In just 2 weeks since I had the board, I loved how it rides on flat water and downwind. Exceptional indeed.
Coup de cœur total pour le design de ma planche Taiga! Le mélange du fini bois avec les couleurs est magnifique et très raffiné — c’est vraiment ce qui m’a séduite dès le premier regard. Elle est aussi très légère et facile à transporter. Je ne l’ai pas encore mise à l’eau, mais elle sera parfaite pour le lac cet été. Très satisfaite de mon achat, je recommande sans hésiter!
Nice clean look, lots of space and outside zippers for my accessories. Amazing quality material, will protect my 11’6 for years to come from the garage to the roof rack to the Salish Sea and repeat. I have already recommended this product to my friends and will continue to do so!
