How to prepare your inflatable paddle board for summer

When the hot weather comes along, you’ll want to take out your board to enjoy the SUP season. Here are our recommendations to prepare your inflatable paddle board for your first outing.

STEP 1

To get ready for your first summer outing, start by inflating your board and ensuring it's stays fully inflated. If not, look around for some holes and use your repair kit.

STEP 2

Attach your leash securely.

STEP 3

Attach your fins; ensure they still fit in the fin box and are undamaged.

STEP 4

Grab your paddle and adjust it. Secure the shaft in place by pressing on the clip. If you wish, you can also tighten the screws on the clip with a screwdriver to prevent it from opening when paddling.

Once everything is set, you're ready to hit the water and enjoy your SUP adventure under the sun!

TIP: After your session, rinse your board with fresh water, remove the accessories, and dry it thoroughly.

CAN I KEEP MY BOARD INFLATED ALL SUMMER?

Yes, no problem! On your next outing, be sure to add the few PSI you lost to maximize your experience on the water. However, NEVER leave your paddle board in the sun! The heat could increase its pressure even more.

HOW HIGH CAN I INFLATE MY SUP?

With our X-WOVEN technology, you can inflate your SUP from 18 PSI to 20 PSI for maximum rigidity. Without this quality technology, your paddle board could explode if exposed to the sun. The heat creates a thermal expansion since the internal pressure of the board increases of some PSI.
