Quebec City, nestled between the majestic St. Lawrence River and the surrounding mountains, offers an ideal playground for paddle board enthusiasts.

Whether you are a resident of the city or just passing through, here are the 5 must-visit spots:

5. Jacques-Cartier National Park

If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing adventure, Jacques-Cartier National Park is the perfect place.

At kilometer 3, you will find the rental center that offers TAIGA boards for calm waters. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, you can rent a paddle board and let yourself be carried away by the gentle waters of the river... The dream!

4. Station touristique Duchesnay

On the shores of Lake Saint-Joseph, the SÉPAQ's new nautical center is a prime location to try out a TAIGA board!

Note that access to the water sports center is exclusively reserved for guests staying on-site or daily passport holders

3. Montmorency River

Located in the beautiful Boischatel area of the Côte-de-Beaupré, the Montmorency River offers an ideal place to practice paddleboarding. Why? Because only non-motorized watercraft are allowed! We love being able to fully enjoy the tranquility while paddleboarding. Access to this river is possible from the floating dock installed at the Domaine de la rivière.

2. Beauport Bay

Located at the mouth of the Saint-Charles River, Beauport Bay is a perfect spot for water activities, including paddleboarding. With its vast stretches of water and fine sandy beaches, you can easily enjoy your outing safely. Explore the bay while appreciating the view of the St. Lawrence River and the urban panorama of Quebec City!

1. Lake St-Joseph

Whether it's for a relaxing day with family, an outing with friends, or simply to enjoy the beauty of nature, the lake's beach offers a perfect setting. On your paddle board, you can explore its nooks, admire its landscapes, and maybe even catch a glimpse of fascinating local wildlife.

Enjoy discovering the National Capital from the water!
